What It Is
At the end of every video, you
have the option of adding closing text. Closing text can be a
quote, a Bible verse, poem or just a personal thought in your own
words. While there's no limit (within reason) to the amount of
text you can use, we encourage you not to write a book. The
text will scroll by (like movie credits) so you ultimately do not
have to worry about the overall length or formatting of whatever you
choose to close your video with - you're only concern is the
spelling, grammar and punctuation.
We would prefer that all closing text be emailed directly to us after it has been proof-read, scrutinized than proof-read again. We have begun the process of collecting 'popular or meaningful' closing text for you to choose from - if you have a contribution to this list, please feel free to email it to us.
Memorial
The Lord is my Shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside
the still water.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness
for His name's Sake.
Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow
of death,
I will fear no evil.
For Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff,
they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table
before me in the
presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head
with oil;
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days
of my life;
And I shall dwell in the
House of the Lord forever.
- Psalm 23:1-6
God's Garden
God looked around His garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the Earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on Earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
and the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For a part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Irish Prayer
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rains fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of
His hand.
When I
Must Leave You
When I must leave you
For a little while,
Please do not grieve
And shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you
Through the years,
But start out bravely
With a smile.
And for my sake
And in my name,
Live on and do
All the things the same.
Feed not your loneliness
On empty days,
But fill each waking hour
In useful ways.
Reach out your hand in comfort
And in cheer,
And I, in turn, will comfort you
And hold you near.
And never, never
Be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you
In the sky.

Graduation
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the
LORD ,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me,
and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me
when you seek me with all your heart.
- Jeremiah 29: 11-13
Wedding
Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
